About the role
Duration: 3 to 6 months Stipend: 5,000/month Location: Kolkata Metropolitan Area (Hybrid — in-office presence required a few times a week) About Genovation We're a fast-moving startup working at the intersection of AI, machine learning, and software engineering. Our work spans both client projects and in-house product development. We value ownership, curiosity, and real-world problem solving. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to work on real applications and build meaningful experience in a practical, startup environment. What you'll work on Backend development using Python Frontend work with React.js, Next.js, or Node.js End-to-end contributions across the full stack Experimenting with Generative AI (text/image/code generation) Deploying practical AI/ML solutions Collaborating with a small, focused team in a hybrid setting Who this is for You're a good fit if you: Know your way around basic Python and backend development Have tried frontend frameworks like React.js or Next.js Are curious about Generative AI and LLMs Enjoy learning by doing and building things that matter Are based in or near Kolkata and can work partially from the office What you'll get 5,000/month stipend Experience certificate upon successful completion Real-world exposure to AI/ML product development Mentorship from experienced developers A fast-paced, supportive learning environment Opportunities to contribute to projects that actually ship
