About the role
Role Overview The Automation Architect defines the end-to-end technical blueprint for the Client automation program. This role is responsible for solution architecture, infrastructure design, bot framework selection, integration strategy, and ensuring the delivery aligns with enterprise-grade scalability, security, and compliance requirements applicable to a federal payer environment. Mandatory Skills 8+ years of IT experience with 4+ years specifically in RPA / Intelligent Automation architecture Deep expertise in UiPath platform Studio, Orchestrator, AI Center, Test Suite, and Document Understanding, IXP Proven experience architecting end-to-end RPA solutions for large enterprise or government/regulated industry clients Strong knowledge of US Healthcare IT Medicaid, Medicare, provider data, and payer-side operations Ability to design scalable, fault-tolerant, and HIPAA-compliant automation architectures Proficiency in integration design REST/SOAP APIs, EDI, HL7, database connectivity Experience with effort estimation, solution costing, and technical proposal writing for pre-sales / RFP responses Ability to drive technical governance, architectural review boards, and delivery assurance Good to Have UiPath Certified Solution Architect or equivalent certification Experience with AI / ML augmented automation (Intelligent Document Processing, NLP) Familiarity with California state payer systems or DHCS regulations Prior experience in hybrid onshore-offshore delivery models for regulated industries Knowledge of DevOps / MLOps practices for automation lifecycle management Compliance & Onboarding Requirements Must be cleared for access to solution architecture documents containing PHI-adjacent design specifications HIPAA and federal data handling training required May need to travel onshore for architecture workshops or client presentations Role Overview The Automation Architect defines the end-to-end technical blueprint for the Client automation program.
