Experienced Software Test Engineer About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Test Engineer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for validating software quality through systematic testing, identifying bugs, and ensuring our products deliver a seamless experience for our users. Key Responsibilities - Test Execution & Reporting: Perform manual (and optional automated) testing for functional, regression, and integration test scenarios. - Bug Tracking: Identify, log, prioritize, and track software defects using tools like Jira. - Test Documentation: Design clear, comprehensive test cases, test scenarios, and edge-case workflows based on functional specifications. - Collaboration: Partner closely with developers and product teams to reproduce issues and verify bug fixes. - Release Management: Participate in release testing cycles to ensure zero high-severity bugs hit production. Requirements & Qualifications - Experience: [2+] years of experience in manual software testing (Web and/or Mobile applications). - Testing Concepts: Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, test case design, and bug life cycles. - Tools: Proficiency with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) and API testing tools (e.g., Postman). - Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with solid attention to edge cases and user journeys. - Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills to document defects and coordinate with developers .
