About the role
Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and update GIS databases for utility assets and infrastructure. Create, edit, and validate spatial data from field surveys, satellite imagery, CAD drawings, and other sources. Perform GIS analysis, spatial modeling, and data quality checks. Prepare thematic maps, utility network maps, and project-related geospatial deliverables. Support field team s in data collection, GPS/GNSS surveys. Integrate GIS data with utility management systems and other enterprise databases. Coordinate with project managers, survey teams, engineers, and clients for GIS-related requirements. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project standards. Generate reports and map-based visualizations for project stakeholders. Required Qualifications : Utility Networks: Prior experience working with utility data models (Water, Gas, Electric, or Telecom) is highly preferred. GIS Software: Proficiency in ArcGIS Desktop / ArcGIS Pro and QGIS is mandatory. CAD Integration: Strong experience in integrating AutoCAD drawings into GIS formats. Bachelors / Masters degree in GIS, Geoinformatics, Geomatics, Geography, Civil Engineering, Surveying, Remote Sensing, or related field.
