Database Support Engineer - GEXL

Job Description Responsibilities & Main Duties: - Provide professional advice and support to clients. - Collaborate closely with R&D and Project Management teams. - Execute service activities to ensure timely and high-quality project deliverables. - Maintain and update all forms of technical documentation. Key Performance Indicators: - Effective database support. - SLA ticket processing, incident management, and troubleshooting. - Strong social skills and teamwork. Required Knowledge & Experience: - University degree in IT or equivalent, or at least 3 years of relevant experience. - Advanced analytical troubleshooting skills. - Experience working in multicultural environments. - Proven ability to liaise with stakeholders across various hierarchical levels. - Technical expertise in: - Database and SQL, including SQL scripting. - Data Warehouse (DWH) and Business Intelligence (BI) architecture. - Database front-end, reporting tools, ETL tools, and drivers. - Programming languages such as Python, Lua, Java, or R. Focus Area for DSE online test: Core DB support responsibilities - Hands-on with MySQL/Postgres/Oracle/SQL Server/MongoDB - Troubleshooting real issues - Data model evaluation - ETL loading logic (dim fact) - SQL interpretation in plain English Personal Skills: - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Attention to detail. - Customer-centric and secure approach. - Excellent organizational abilities. - Team-oriented but capable of working independently.
