As an IT Transition Manager, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end transition of outsourced IT support services to an in-house operating model across the GIA environment. Your role will involve managing service escalations post-transition and actively participating in the in-house IT team to ensure ongoing operational support, service stability, and continuous improvement. Your main goal is to ensure minimal disruption to business operations while building sustainable internal capabilities, processes, and governance. Key Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end transition of IT services from third-party vendors to internal teams. - Develop comprehensive transition plans, governance, and reporting. - Manage knowledge transfer and service stabilization. - Support target operating model and in-house capability build. - Manage vendor exit and stakeholder communication. - Develop and maintain operational documentation including runbooks, SOPs, architecture diagrams, and support procedures. - Participate in change management processes including testing, rollout planning, risk mitigation, and post-change validation. - Provide escalation support to Service Desk and application teams for infrastructure-related issues and service requests. Qualifications: - Associates Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience in related field, and 7+ years of related experience. Bachelors degree preferred. The company may require you to have the following certifications: - PMP or Prince2 (preferred) - ITIL Foundation (preferred) In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, your deep expertise in ITIL Service Transition processes and strong understanding of Incident, Problem, Major Incident, and Escalation Management in enterprise IT environments will be crucial for success in this role.
