Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership: Manage daily SOC operations, including monitoring, detection, and response to security incidents. Strategy & Process: Develop, maintain, and enforce SOC standard operating procedures (SOPs), playbooks, and escalation protocols. Ensures adherence to the Entrust specific SLAs and KPIs Team Management: Hire, train, and mentor SOC analysts and engineers, fostering a high-performance culture. Ensure team roaster is maintained per shift-incident demand. Tooling & Automation: Drive improvements in security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR) and automation to maximize detection and remediation efficiency. Reporting & Compliance: Generate executive-level dashboards and reports regarding the current threat landscape, risk environment, and performance metrics. Incident Handling: Lead or support the coordination of incident response activities, ensuring post-incident feedback loops. Stakeholder management: Manages Entrust Info sec stakeholders for new opportunities in SOC space.
