Job Description Job Title: DWS Engineering Citrix VDI Engineer (L2 / L3) Location: Noida Experience: 3 to 10 Yrs Job Summary We are seeking skilled DWS Engineering Citrix VDI Engineers to manage, support, and optimize enterprise virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and associated desktop workspace solutions . The role involves administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and ensuring high availability of virtual desktops. Key Responsibilities L2 DWS Citrix VDI Provide L2 support for Citrix VDI environments (Virtual Apps, Virtual Desktops) Troubleshoot user access, performance, and application issues Manage user accounts, policies, and desktop pools Monitor VDI infrastructure and maintain operational health Perform routine maintenance, patching, and updates Escalate complex issues to L3 L3 DWS Citrix VDI Act as L3 escalation point for complex VDI and workspace issues Design, deploy, and optimize Citrix infrastructure Perform advanced troubleshooting of Citrix Virtual Apps, Desktops, and underlying infrastructure Lead upgrades, patching, and DR exercises Mentor L1/L2 engineers and define best practices Collaborate with networking, storage, and security teams to ensure high availability and performance Required Skills Hands-on experience with Citrix Virtual Apps / Desktops / Citrix ADC Strong understanding of VDI infrastructure, XenDesktop/XenApp, Citrix Studio, Delivery Controllers Experience with Windows OS, Active Directory, GPOs, and application publishing Knowledge of ITIL processes, incident, and change management Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills Good to Have Experience with VMware Horizon or other VDI platforms Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Batch) Monitoring tools (Citrix Director, Citrix Analytics, ControlUp) Backup and disaster recovery knowledge for VDI Education Bachelor s degree in IT / Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent Disclaimer : This job posting has been aggregated from external source.
