About the role
As a Sr. Database Administrator (DBA) at the Indian IT Software company in Noida, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Designing, deploying & managing cloud-based database systems on Azure - Administering and optimizing SQL databases including SQL Server, PostgreSQL & MySQL - Managing NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cosmos DB, DynamoDB & Redis - Implementing auto-scaling, replication, failover, sharding & high availability solutions - Handling backup, disaster recovery (DR) & database security processes - Monitoring database performance, health & capacity planning - Performing query optimization, indexing & schema design - Working closely with DevOps, Application & Architecture teams - Troubleshooting production issues and performing root cause analysis - Supporting cloud-native and microservices-based architectures Qualifications required for this role include: - Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Database Services - Deep expertise in SQL & NoSQL databases - Experience handling large-scale, high-throughput systems - Strong knowledge of database scalability & reliability concepts - Exposure to Kubernetes, CI/CD & monitoring tools preferred - Experience with AI/ML workloads or Kafka will be an added advantage In addition to the above details, the Job Description does not contain any additional information about the company.
