About the role
Job Summary We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer with 12 years of experience in desktop support and IT infrastructure operations. The candidate should have hands-on experience in supporting desktops, laptops, printers, PCs, and end-user IT issues. The role requires positive troubleshooting skills and the ability to provide timely technical support to ensure smooth business operations. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support for desktop systems, laptops, PCs, and printers. Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and end-user devices. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and printer-related issues. Perform system upgrades, software installations, and routine maintenance. Configure and troubleshoot network connectivity (LAN/Wi-Fi) issues. Manage user accounts, access permissions, and basic IT administration tasks. Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements. Maintain IT asset inventory and update support documentation. Handle tickets through the ticketing/helpdesk system and ensure SLA compliance. Support onboarding and offboarding activities for employees. Ensure preventive maintenance and uptime of IT infrastructure. Required Skills Experience in Desktop Support / Infrastructure Support. Positive knowledge of PC hardware, printers, desktops, and laptops. Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN, Wi-Fi). Knowledge of Windows OS installation and troubleshooting. Familiarity with ticketing tools and remote support tools. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team workplace. Qualification Diploma / Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications are an added advantage.
