About the role
Role & responsibilities Azure Architect with over 15 years of experience in cloud architecture and design. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Azure services and best practices, and will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and effective cloud solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cloud adoption and innovation. Responsibilities: - Design and implement Azure-based solutions that meet business requirements and align with industry best practices. - Lead architecture discussions and provide technical guidance to development teams. - Evaluate and recommend Azure services and tools to enhance system performance and reliability. - Develop and maintain architecture documentation, including diagrams, standards, and guidelines. - Collaborate with stakeholders to define cloud strategy and roadmap. - Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in cloud deployments. - Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Azure resources. - Stay updated with the latest Azure features and industry trends to drive continuous improvement. Mandatory Skills: - Proven experience in Azure architecture and design. - Strong knowledge of Azure services, including but not limited to Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Azure DevOps. - Experience with cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks. - Ability to design and implement CI/CD pipelines in Azure. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Skills: - Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus. - Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates. - Experience in migrating on-premises applications to Azure. - Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly desirable.
