SAP Build Solution Architect S/4HANA Public Cloud

As a SAP Build Solution Architect, you will design, govern, and deliver low-code/no-code and pro-code extensions and applications that enhance S/4HANA Public Cloud functionality using SAP Build, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and associated services. You will work closely with functional and technical teams to translate business requirements into cloud-compliant, scalable solutions within the clean core strategy of SAP Public Cloud. Key Responsibilities: Design SAP Build-based applications to extend S/4HANA Public Cloud functionality using SAP Build Apps, SAP Build Process Automation, and SAP Build Work Zone Collaborate with business stakeholders and SAP consultants to analyze extension needs that cannot be fulfilled via standard configuration Architect and oversee development of: o Custom business apps (via SAP Build Apps / UI5 / Fiori Elements) o Process automations (eg, workflow approvals, task flows) o Integrations using SAP Integration Suite Ensure compliance with SAP Clean Core principles avoid in-app custom code, and use side-by-side extensibility via BTP Guide the selection and design of Key-User Extensibility, Developer Extensibility, or BTP Extensions Define and document architecture blueprints and solution roadmaps Ensure security, performance, and lifecycle management of custom apps Conduct architecture reviews and guide teams in following public cloud constraints Govern the lifecycle of BTP applications deployment, monitoring, scaling, and support Work with SAP and third-party APIs to extend or integrate applications Assist in DevOps and CI/CD pipeline adoption for SAP BTP applications Lead and mentor development teams across global delivery models Functional & Technical Skills: 8+ years of experience in SAP ecosystem, with at least 3 years in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Hands-on experience with SAP Build Apps, SAP Build Process Automation, and SAP BTP Strong knowledge of Fiori, OData, UI5, and CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model) Experience in SAP Extension Suite, SAP Integration Suite, and SAP Identity & Access Management Understanding of public cloud restrictions, in-app vs side-by-side extensibility Experience designing apps that interact with S/4HANA standard APIs and events (Event Mesh) Preferred Tools / Services: SAP Business Application Studio SAP Mobile Services SAP Cloud Transport Management SAP Alert Notification and Logging Certifications: SAP Certifications preferred: o SAP Certified Development Associate SAP BTP Extension Developer o SAP Build Solutions Certification o SAP Integration Suite Soft Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Strategic thinker with attention to detail Strong documentation and architecture governance abilities Ability to manage across distributed agile teams Additional Details: Language: English (mandatory); other languages a plus Travel: Minimal to moderate based on project needs Industry knowledge in manufacturing, professional services, utilities, or retail is beneficial
