Business Systems Specialist

To bridge the gap between business objectives and IT solutions by analyzing complex business processes, eliciting detailed requirements, and defining robust system specifications within Global Payments. This role involves collaborating with diverse stakeholders to identify business needs, propose creative solutions, and ensure the successful delivery of critical IT projects. What Are We Looking For in This Role Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field; or equivalent training or experience in lieu of a degree. Professional experience working with end-users to meet business needs. Preferred Qualifications: Scripting knowledge. Bankcard industry knowledge. Understanding of data structures. Working towards a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification. What Are Our Desired Skills and Capabilities Skills / Knowledge: Possesses wide-ranging experience, capable of using professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Job Complexity: Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Capable of networking with key contacts outside own area of expertise. Supervision: Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel (Team Lead). Problem Solving: A seasoned, experienced professional with strong problem-solving skills and a proven ability for problem resolution based on a broad base of business knowledge. MS Office & Flowcharting: Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. Familiar with several common drawing techniques using Visio or UML.
