About the role
Develop system engineering, software engineering, system integration, or distributed system architectures. Collaborate with IT Team, engineers or software developers to select appropriate design solutions or ensure the compatibility of system components and migration of web apps to AWS. Identify system data, hardware, or software components required to meet user needs. Document design specifications, installation instructions, and other system-related information. Provide customers or installation teams guidelines for implementing secure systems. Investigate system component suitability for specified purposes and make recommendations regarding component use. Evaluate existing systems to determine effectiveness and suggest changes to meet organizational requirements. Direct the analysis, development, and operation of complete computer systems. Perform ongoing hardware and software maintenance operations, including installing or upgrading hardware or software. Create serverless applications using multiple AWS services such as API, RDS instance, and Lambda. Direct the installation of operating systems, network or application software, or computer or network hardware.
REQUIRES: Master’s or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering (any discipline). (Will accept a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience as Systems Engineer/AWS Architect, Systems Architect or Developer.)
LOCATION: Hamilton, NJ & other unanticipated client sites throughout US
