About the role
Role Overview: As a software developer at our company, your primary responsibility will be to develop high-quality software that is performant, scalable, reusable, extensible, secure, supportable, and reliable. You will be writing microservices, developing and extending in-house APIs, and writing client-side code that interacts with other APIs (RESTful and SDKs). Collaborating with front-end engineers, you will understand user requirements and provide endpoints to build appealing interfaces. Additionally, you will work on maintaining scalable web and responsive applications while exhibiting a DevOps mindset by focusing on continuous integration and version control of the software. As a mentor, you will also guide new software developers and junior engineers in their roles. Key Responsibilities: - Develop high-quality software with specified attributes - Write microservices and client-side code for API interactions - Collaborate with front-end engineers to meet user requirements - Maintain scalable web and responsive applications - Exhibit a DevOps mindset for continuous integration and version control - Mentor new software developers and junior engineers Qualifications Required: - Passionate software developer with hands-on application development experience - Experience in Cloud Computing using AWS, GCP, or other cloud providers - Working experience with Java and Spring frameworks - Containerization experience with Docker or Kubernetes - Solid understanding of SQL and Relational Databases - Knowledge of Distributed and Scalable systems - Familiarity with Git or other version control systems - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced Agile environment Additional Details: Our company focuses on industries such as High-Tech, communication, media, healthcare, retail, and telecom.
