As a Software Development Engineer in Test at GlobalLogic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of the delivered functionality/product, primarily the backend microservices of the cloud platform. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and supporting the required test documentation. - Creating automated test cases to validate that software products meet engineering and product requirements. - Generating test execution summary reports. - Maintaining high coding standards and review processes for all code and scripts. - Collaborating closely with Architects, Developers, DevOps, Product Owners, and QA team members to produce high-quality products. - Supporting the prioritization of deliverables in a dynamic environment. To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field. - 4-7 years of experience in software development with a solid understanding of QA fundamentals. - Experience in creating test automation libraries and test suites for REST APIs. - Working experience with Python (preferred) or Java. - Experience with cloud-based application deployments and troubleshooting. - Implementation and improvement of existing CI/CD infrastructure processes and procedures. - Experience working in an AWS environment. - Strong knowledge of source control management, coding standards, code review, and build and release processes. Nice to have qualifications include: - Experience with the Robot Framework and/or automated testing. - Experience with IoT solutions. - Strong experience with AWS services such as Kafka, Cognito, and Aurora.
