About the role
As an IT Asset Management Analyst (ITAM Analyst) supporting the US team, your responsibilities will include: - IT Asset Lifecycle Management: - Maintain accurate records of IT hardware assets within the asset management repository. - Manage asset lifecycle processes including procurement, deployment, movement, maintenance, and retirement. - Resolve discrepancies in IT hardware asset records and ensure data integrity within asset management systems. - Support bulk asset data uploads and updates while ensuring data quality and compliance with asset standards. - Asset Data Governance & Compliance: - Ensure adherence to IT Asset Management policies, processes, and procedures across supported customers. - Validate asset data updates resulting from IMACD activities (Install, Move, Add, Change, Dispose). - Monitor compliance with asset tracking and reporting requirements. - Assist in maintaining audit-ready asset records. - Operational Support & Process Improvement: - Ensure asset management tools and systems are functioning effectively. - Maintain and update documentation related to asset management processes. - Identify gaps between operational delivery capabilities and contractual or service requirements. - Escalate and help resolve operational issues affecting asset management service delivery. - Performance Monitoring & Reporting: - Track service performance against SLAs and ensure key metrics remain within target. - Monitor asset management activities and support the leveraged support team when required. - Assist in generating reports and metrics related to asset management operations. Qualifications: - 36 years of professional experience, preferably in IT operations, asset management, IT support, or related roles. - Foundational knowledge or exposure to IT Asset Management (ITAM) practices and lifecycle management. - Experience working with asset management tools or IT service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.) is a plus. - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large datasets with accuracy. - Basic analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and coordination skills for cross-team collaboration. - Demonstrated willingness to learn and grow within the IT Asset Management domain. - Continuous learner who stays updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
