Senior React Native Engineer/Mobile Architect

As a highly skilled Senior React Native Engineer / Mobile Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design, architecture, and performance of mobile applications. Your key responsibilities will include: - Defining and owning the mobile application architecture, including navigation, state management, data flow, module boundaries, and error handling. - Establishing, enforcing, and maintaining engineering standards such as TypeScript usage, linting, formatting, testing practices, and commit conventions. - Owning the native module strategy, including Bridges, TurboModules, and JSI, while minimizing native code whenever possible. - Setting, monitoring, and optimizing performance budgets including Time to Interactive (TTI), bundle size, memory usage, and UI performance, and conducting regular profiling. - Managing and improving CI/CD pipelines, including code signing, build flavors, release automation, and OTA updates using tools like CodePush. - Implementing observability best practices such as crash reporting, logging, analytics, feature flags, and A/B experimentation. - Leading architecture design reviews, RFCs, and technical discussions to drive scalable and maintainable solutions. - Mentoring and guiding engineers to promote best practices and continuous technical improvement across the team. Qualifications Required: - Strong experience with React Native and TypeScript. - Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role. - Solid understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns. - Hands-on experience with native modules for both iOS and Android. - Expertise in performance optimization and profiling. - Experience with CI/CD, release management, and OTA updates. - Familiarity with monitoring, analytics, and experimentation tools. - Strong communication skills and experience in mentoring engineers.
