About the role
As an experienced Wintel Server Administrator with 5-7 years of experience, your role will involve administering Wintel Server platforms and managing server virtualization. You will be responsible for performing server builds, configurations, root cause analysis, and problem management in alignment with ITIL standards. Additionally, you will install, configure, and maintain Windows Server Operating Systems, manage core infrastructure services, monitor server performance, and handle user account management within Windows Server environments. Your responsibilities will also include designing and implementing complex infrastructure projects, applying OS patches and upgrades, ensuring system security, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues, and maintaining comprehensive documentation of systems and configurations. Furthermore, you will collaborate with cross-functional IT teams, participate in disaster recovery planning, provide backend support to implementation and deployment teams, and demonstrate strong leadership and teamwork capabilities. You will work with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V and VMware, possess working knowledge of SAN and NAS storage systems, and have hands-on experience with backup solutions and antivirus administration.
