About the role
Role : Software Testing Engineer Location: Bengaluru Experience: 1 3 Years Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days Educational Qualification: B.Com (Computer), BCA, B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science or related field Role & Responsibilities Perform manual testing to ensure software quality and functionality. Prepare and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios . Identify, document, and track bugs through the defect life cycle . Understand project requirements and maintain Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) . Conduct different types of testing such as functional, regression, and smoke testing . Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues. Ensure applications meet quality standards before deployment . Maintain test documentation and provide clear reports on testing results. Required Skills Strong knowledge of manual testing and testing methodologies . Good understanding of SDLC and STLC . Experience in writing and executing test cases and test plans . Knowledge of bug/defect life cycle . Familiarity with GitLab for version control . Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills . Ability to work independently and in a team . Knowledge of automation testing will be an added advantage. .
