Hiring - Testing & Documentation Engineer - NPD - GM Modular Pvt Ltd

Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive engineer to join our Home Automation NPD division. The role involves testing products to ensure functionality and compliance, preparing and maintaining documentation, coordinating with vendors for corrective actions, and collaborating across multiple departments to ensure smooth product validation and process adherence. Key Responsibilities • Product Testing & Validation Conduct functional, performance, and compliance testing of home automation products. Identify defects, inconsistencies, and improvement areas. Ensure products meet internal standards and customer requirements. • Documentation & Compliance Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation as per organizational processes. Ensure test reports, corrective action records, and compliance documents are accurate and complete. Support audits and certification processes with proper documentation. • Vendor & Cross-Department Coordination Interact with vendors to communicate issues, track corrective actions, and verify resolutions. Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to ensure alignment on product improvements. Facilitate smooth communication between internal stakeholders and external partners. • Process Adherence Ensure documentation and testing follow established quality and compliance processes. Recommend process improvements to enhance eAiciency and accuracy. Qualifications • Bachelors degree/ Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/ or related field. • 2 - 5 years of experience in product testing, quality assurance, or documentation (preferably in home automation or IoT/ Similar). • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, compliance standards, and documentation practices. • Excellent communication and coordination skills for vendor and crossfunctional interactions. • Proficiency in tools for documentation, reporting, and defect tracking.
