Cyber Security Lead

As the Cyber Security Lead at our company, your role will be crucial in implementing the cybersecurity strategy and operations defined by the CISO. You will play a key part in ensuring that our information assets and technologies are well protected through proactive risk management, incident response, and continuous enhancement of security controls. Your expertise as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) will be valuable in advising the CISO on cyber security risks and necessary controls. Key Responsibility Areas: - Implement the cybersecurity roadmap and strategic initiatives set by the CISO. - Advise the CISO on cyber security risks and recommend remedial measures. - Drive cyber security initiatives proactively. - Lead and manage cross-functional security teams. - Collaborate with stakeholders and partners to identify cyber risks and take necessary actions. - Maintain and execute incident response plans, leading coordination during security incidents. - Possess experience in GRC and managing vulnerability management processes. - Demonstrate a good understanding of Network security, Threat management, application security, Cloud security, etc. - Evaluate and recommend security technologies, ensuring seamless integration across IT infrastructure. - Provide regular updates to the CISO and ensure effective communication with stakeholders. Requisite Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. - Possession of industry-recognized security certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001:2013/2022, ISO 22301, CGIET, CCSP, etc. (at least two) is highly desirable. - Minimum 4-5 years of experience in leading a Cyber security team. - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across all levels within an organization. - Broad knowledge of security and risk issues and techniques across platforms. - Strong knowledge of methodologies, processes, and tools associated with supporting this function effectively. Additional Details: - You should have a minimum of 10-12 years of experience in IT Security, with at least 3-4 years in a team lead role. - Experience in managing large-scale security operations and teams is preferred. - Experience in manufacturing industries will be considered an added advantage.
