About the role
- Senior DNS Server Administrator We are seeking an experienced Senior DNS Server Administrator to join our team. - The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our DNS servers. - The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DNS server administration, Linux, routing and switching, and network load balancing. - Location India Responsibilities - Administer and maintain DNS servers to ensure high availability and performance. - Configure and troubleshoot DNS server software, including BIND and other DNS server applications. - Implement and manage DNS server security measures to prevent unauthorized access and data breaches. - Monitor and analyze DNS server logs to identify and resolve issues. - Collaborate with network engineers to ensure seamless integration with other network devices and systems. - Develop and implement load balancing strategies to optimize DNS server performance. - Troubleshoot DNS server issues and resolve problems in a timely and efficient manner. - Stay up-to-date with the latest DNS server technologies and best practices. Requirements - Minimum 7 years of experience in DNS server administration, Linux, routing and switching, and network load balancing. - Strong knowledge of DNS server software, including BIND and other DNS server applications. - Experience with Linux operating systems, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux and CentOS. - Understanding of routing and switching protocols, including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP. - Knowledge of network load balancing techniques and technologies. - Ability to troubleshoot complex DNS server issues and resolve problems in a timely and productive manner. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
