About the role
As a Global Banking & Markets Strat at Goldman Sachs, you will play a crucial role on the trading floor by creating cutting-edge derivative pricing models, developing automated trading algorithms, and analyzing exposures to meet client needs. Your focus will be on themes such as automated pricing and workflows, modeling and prediction of pricing inputs, systematic analysis of risk and flow, and designing on-exchange algorithmic trading strategies. Key Responsibilities: - Automate manual workflows and enhance existing processes with a focus on pricing automation and business metrics - Model and predict pricing inputs like dividend, funding spread, and volatility, and design automation tools for these inputs - Analyze risk and flow of the franchise systematically, drive business decisions, and contribute to platform design - Design and optimize derivatives market taking and market making trading algorithms for on-exchange trading Qualifications: - Excellent academic record in a relevant quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science) - Strong analytical and programming skills - Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial markets, preferably as a quantitative analyst - Previous experience in a sales and trading desk environment, with derivatives pricing/modeling experience - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to self-motivate, multitask, and work independently At Goldman Sachs, the commitment is to help clients, shareholders, and communities grow by leveraging people, capital, and ideas.
