Analyst-Model Risk

As an Analyst in the Electronic Trading Software Controls (ETSC) group at The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., you will play a central role in the firm's risk management of electronic trading businesses. Your responsibilities will include: - Understanding the broad design of an electronic trading flow, including order execution cycle, software stack, and interconnected systems - Understanding the underlying business context and trading activity profile for the e-trading flow - Validating the design, implementation, and effectiveness of software controls in mitigating market disruption and identifying potential gaps - Communicating validation results and outcomes to key stakeholders in business and risk - Developing tools to enhance, automate, and build efficiency into the validation workflow In this role, you will have the opportunity to become a subject matter expert in electronic markets, financial products, and trading software stack. You will be expected to provide thought leadership in reviewing and implementing controls for new electronic trading regulatory requirements.
