About the role
As a Quantitative Fixed Income Strat Vice President at Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) in Bengaluru, you will be part of a team that provides clients globally with dedicated partnership and long-term performance focus. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with portfolio managers to build quantitative models and tools to streamline the portfolio management process. - Develop sustainable production systems that can adapt to changes in the fast-paced, global business environment. - Utilize advanced statistical, quantitative, or econometric techniques to develop quantitative analytics and signals for improving the portfolio construction process and performance. - Create rigorous and scalable data management/analysis tools to support the investment process. - Implement mathematical models and analytics in production-quality software. Qualifications: - Background in a quantitative discipline (e.g. mathematics, engineering, physics, or computer science), preferably with Masters or PhD. - Strong mathematical and analytical skills. - Ability to innovate and create solutions for commercial challenges. - Proficiency in at least one programming language and experience in production software development life cycle (SDLC). - Excellent communication skills. - Self-starter with the ability to work independently and thrive in a team environment.
