About the Role We are looking for a Senior Software Developer who thrives in building high-throughput, low latency, distributed systems. This role is ideal for engineers who have hands-on experience with asynchronous processing, event-driven architectures, and real-time data streaming. You will play a key role in designing and scaling backend systems that power mission-critical applications, ensuring reliability, performance, and extensibility. ## Key Responsibilities - Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems - Build and maintain event-driven architectures using asynchronous messaging patterns - Develop services leveraging message queues and streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.) - Implement real-time communication systems using technologies like: - Server-Sent Events (SSE) - WebSockets - Long polling (where applicable) - Architect high-performance APIs (REST/gRPC) with strong observability and resilience. - Optimize systems for throughput, latency, and concurrency. - Ensure system reliability via retry mechanisms, backpressure handling, and idempotency. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into scalable solutions. - Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and drive engineering best practices - Contribute to system design discussions and architectural decisions. ## Requirements - Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Java, Go, Python, Node.js) - Deep understanding of: - Asynchronous programming models - Concurrency and parallelism - Event-driven system design - Hands-on experience with: - Kafka or similar streaming platforms - Message brokers (RabbitMQ, SQS, etc.) - Experience building real-time systems using: - WebSockets / SSE / streaming APIs - Solid understanding of: - Distributed systems concepts (CAP theorem, consistency models, partitioning) - Fault tolerance and resiliency patterns - Experience with microservices architecture - Familiarity with databases (SQL + NoSQL) and data modeling at scale - Strong debugging and performance optimization skills ## Preferred Qualifications - Experience with stream processing frameworks (Flink, Spark Streaming, Kafka Streams) - Exposure to containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) - Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) - Experience in high-scale systems (millions of events/sec or similar workloads) - Understanding of event sourcing / CQRS patterns ## What We Value - Strong system design thinking over just coding ability - Ownership mindset and ability to drive features end-to-end - Pragmatic decision-making in complex distributed environments - Curiosity to explore and adopt new technologies where appropriate ## Why Join Us - Work on high-impact, large-scale systems - Solve challenging problems in real-time data and distributed computing - Opportunity to influence architecture and technical direction - Collaborative and engineering-driven culture ## Location & Work Mode Noida .
