About the role
Role Overview: The YouTube Strategy team is focused on addressing high-priority issues by providing analytics-based insights, aligning goals across different functions, and advising senior leadership. The team works on a variety of projects including early growth initiatives, operational changes, and strategic evaluations. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development and deployment of centralized reports, dashboards, models, and tools for analyzing and presenting partnership and operations data. - Collaborate with User Support teams to identify key business questions and process pain points. - Contribute to a prioritized roadmap and work with Data Infrastructure (DI) to release new product features. - Provide data products to User Support teams to enhance decision-making processes and establish KPIs and key results for the business domain. - Develop the strategy for shared analyst infrastructure and drive innovation in infrastructure for the analyst community. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - 5 years of experience in analytics and analytics development. - Proficiency in relational databases, SQL queries, database definition, and schema design. - Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI. - Master's degree or equivalent practical experience (preferred). - 6 years of experience creating dashboards, manipulating datasets, and performing data analysis using SQL and data visualization tools. - Ability to translate business requests into technical requirements for data products. - Experience deploying data products and collaborating cross-functionally for product delivery and adoption. - Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C) for data pipeline management.
