About the role
You will be joining the Trust & Safety team at Google, where your main responsibility will be to identify and address challenges that affect the safety and integrity of Google products. By utilizing your technical expertise, problem-solving skills, user insights, and effective communication, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding users and partners from abuse across various Google products such as Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. As a member of this team, you are expected to think holistically and work strategically with a strong commitment to ethical practices. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with Program Managers, Software Engineers, Machine Learning/Anti-Abuse and Security Engineers, Policy, Sales, and Review teams to develop strategies. - Utilize data-driven insights to enhance review operations, detect new trends in foundational fraud abuse, contribute to process automation and enforcement, improve machine learning models, and develop intelligence on threat actors. - Contribute to the development of an AI-based capability using transformers-based detection systems to automate incident response and generate threat intelligence for protecting Google accounts. - Handle severe incidents and complex campaigns targeting Google accounts, such as creation and hijacking. - Provide support and training to the team in Hyderabad. - Design, develop, and maintain reliable data-processing infrastructure, metrics, and dashboards. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - 4 years of experience in data analysis, including trend identification, generating summary statistics, and deriving insights from quantitative and qualitative data. - 1 year of experience in project management, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables. Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree in a quantitative discipline. - 2 years of experience with languages such as SQL, R, Python, or C. - 1 year of experience with machine learning systems. - Excellent communication skills.
