As a member of the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Protection Analytics team, you will have the opportunity to work towards delivering trusted experiences for Google Cloud users by developing products that prevent abuse and ensure seamless growth on Cloud. The team is small yet ambitious, leveraging user trust expertise and a cross-product perspective to build and deliver enterprise-ready, industry-leading solutions. You will play a crucial role in promoting trust in Google and ensuring the highest levels of user safety across Google Cloud products. Key Responsibilities: - Develop an understanding of the business problems the team works on to lead the ideation, design, and development of analytical solutions. - Conduct data analysis to drive decision-making, such as monitoring model rollouts, analyzing model impact, and investigating changes in key metrics. - Evaluate new features and data sources for modeling to enhance model performance and adapt to new use cases. - Identify relevant metrics to evaluate model changes and launches, including creating new metrics where necessary, and utilize them for decision-making. - Create dashboards, data visualizations, and concise write-ups to communicate findings and recommendations to the team and cross-functional stakeholders. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience. - 4 years of experience in analyzing, extracting, and visualizing insights from datasets. - Experience in building end-to-end machine learning solutions integrated into production systems. Preferred Qualifications: - Ability to collaborate effectively with teammates and independently drive work streams forward. - Excellent communication skills to convey results verbally and in short write-ups. - Track record of delivering analytical recommendations adopted by organizations with real-world business impact.
