As a Verification Engineer at Google, you will be responsible for owning the full verification life-cycle of digital design blocks, focusing on meeting AI/ML performance and accuracy goals. Your expertise will contribute to building constrained-random verification environments to ensure the reliability of AI/ML workloads on Tensor Processing Unit (TPU) hardware. Collaboration with design and verification engineers will be key to performing verification effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Plan the verification of digital design blocks and collaborate with design engineers to identify critical verification scenarios. - Identify and implement various coverage measures for stimulus and corner-cases. - Debug tests in conjunction with design engineers to ensure the delivery of functionally correct design blocks. - Measure and track verification progress towards tape-out, identifying verification gaps. - Develop a constrained-random verification environment utilizing SystemVerilog and Universal Verification Methodology (UVM). Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - 8 years of experience in verifying digital logic at RTL level using SystemVerilog or Specman/E for FPGAs or ASICs. - Experience in verification and debug of IP/subsystem/SoCs in the networking domain. - Experience verifying digital systems using standard IP components/interconnects. - Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science preferred. - Experience with industry-standard simulators, revision control systems, and regression systems. - Experience in AI/ML accelerators or vector processing units. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
