Role Overview: At Google, as an Interaction Designer, you will play a significant role in creating intuitive and user-friendly experiences for billions of users worldwide. Your responsibilities will involve leveraging user-centered design principles to develop industry-leading user experiences, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and advocating for design-centered changes and improvements. You will also be part of the Core UX organization, contributing to reinventing enterprise technology for Google and beyond. Key Responsibilities: - Apply user-centered design principles to AI development challenges - Utilize UX research insights to inform design output for new AI interactions - Define user experiences in a flexible product development process - Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide solutions - Communicate the user experience through wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, or high-fidelity prototypes - Incorporate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates - Advocate for prioritizing design-centered changes, refinements, and improvements Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience - 4 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design - Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience (preferred) - 2 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization (preferred) - 1 year of experience leading design projects (preferred) - Experience in designing for technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, augmented reality, and generative AI models (preferred) - Proficiency in Figma, including file building, developer handoffs, documentation, and annotations with attention to detail (preferred) Role Overview: At Google, as an Interaction Designer, you will play a significant role in creating intuitive and user-friendly experiences for billions of users worldwide.
