Engagement: Full-time — ~0.92 FTE (approx. 1,440 hrs) Reports to: Enterprise Architect

Job Title: Manufacturing / Quality Solution Architect

Role Summary: Owns solution design for Manufacturing (Production Scheduling, Work Definitions, Contract Manufacturing/Outside Processing) and Quality Inspection Management, including the Smart Operations (Redwood MES) workbenches — the single largest and most complex workstream in the rollout, requiring on-site discovery in Osaka.

Experience Required: 6–9 years of Oracle Cloud SCM/Manufacturing implementation experience, including at least 2 full-cycle implementations involving Oracle Manufacturing and Quality Management, and ideally at least one prior Smart Operations / Redwood MES workbench deployment. Experience with net-new plant setup (as opposed to configuration reuse) is important since Osaka is a net-new manufacturing site.

Must-Have Skills:

Oracle Fusion Manufacturing: Work Definitions, routings, work centers/machine resources

Smart Operations / Redwood MES workbenches (Supervisor and Operator Workbench)

Quality Inspection Management: inspection plans, incoming and WIP inspection

Contract Manufacturing and Outside Processing scenario design

Shop-floor process discovery and requirements gathering (on-site, Osaka)

Comfort supporting operator UAT and training delivered in Japanese (with interpretation/local support)

Module-Specific Experience: Oracle Fusion Manufacturing, Smart Operations (Supervisor/Operator Workbench, Inventory Shortage Workbench), Quality Inspection Management; working knowledge of Costing and Inventory for cross-module design.
