About the role
As an Oracle Data Analyst at GP Strategies Corporation, you will play a crucial role in the organization's strategic IT objective to become a "data-driven" entity. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that data from the core system of record (Oracle Cloud Fusion) is available in the Enterprise Data Warehouse for effective utilization by decision-makers. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze and document data requirements for BI data extraction - Research and identify appropriate BI views to fulfill reporting needs - Test and validate data extracts for accuracy, completeness, and granularity - Create data design documentation for downstream dimensional modeling and schema definition - Monitor and manage extraction jobs - Perform tie-outs for data quality testing of Enterprise Data Warehouse Qualifications Required: - Design familiarity with dimensional modeling for OLAP reporting designs - Understanding of relational database schemas and data analysis skills - Familiarity with transactional interfaces and table structures in Oracle ERP functionalities - Proficiency in Oracle reporting technologies such as BI Publisher, OTBI, and PL-SQL - 5 years of experience working within Oracle ERP environments, preferably Oracle Fusion Cloud - Excellent English oral and written communication skills - Business analysis and requirements gathering experience - Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders - Experience in using Agile software methodologies for work execution and team collaboration GP Strategies Corporation is committed to fostering a diverse environment and is an equal opportunity employer.
