Our mission is to increase agricultural efficiency and productivity while promoting sustainable and eco-friendly farming practices through robotics, AI, and cutting-edge engineering. Role Overview Duration: 3 Months As an AI Robotics Engineering Intern, you will work on deploying AI systems to real agricultural robotics hardware, with a focus on high-performance on-premise vision inference. What You'll Do Deploy AI vision models on real hardware for agricultural robotics systemsWork hands-on with HAILO and NVIDIA NPUs/GPUs for edge and on-premise deploymentsOptimize model inference pipelines for latency, throughput, and reliabilityBuild and maintain deployment workflows in Python and Linux environmentsCollaborate with robotics, electronics, and software teams to integrate perception into production systems Eligibility Final-year students, fresh graduates, or early-career candidates from Robotics / Mechatronics / Electronics / Computer Science backgroundsStrong practical knowledge of Python and Linux development environmentsAvailable for on-site, full-time work at Maker Village, Kochi, for the full internship durationMust be willing to complete a screening assignment as part of the selection processHave been a part of non-academic projects like ROBOCON, e-yantra, SAE BAHA, URC, Techfest etc. Must-Have Skills Proficiency in Python for model integration, scripting, and toolingStrong Linux fundamentals (shell, package management, services, debugging)Understanding of computer vision model deployment workflowsFamiliarity with edge AI acceleration concepts (NPU/GPU inference)Clear problem-solving and debugging mindset for hardware-software integration Why Join Us End-to-end hardware product development experience from prototyping to productionWork on cutting-edge robotics and AI systems in agricultureCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and domain expertsBe part of Kerala's thriving hardware startup ecosystem with real-world impactAccess to participate in several startup events across globe How to Apply Send your resume and cover letter to hello@grafito.in with the subject line "Application for AI Robotics Engineering Intern".
