About the role
As an Interior Design AutoCAD Drafter at Graniti Vicentia, you will play a crucial role in translating designer intent and FF&E specifications into precise, production-ready drawings for hospitality projects across North America. Your main responsibilities will include: - Developing detailed FF&E drawings, shop drawings, and millwork details in AutoCAD based on design concepts, sketches, and specifications. - Producing floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D layouts for guestrooms, lobbies, restaurants, and public spaces. - Creating and maintaining furniture schedules, finish schedules, and detailed component callouts tied to project specifications. - Coordinating drawings with architectural, MEP, and structural backgrounds to resolve clashes and dimensional conflicts. - Incorporating redlines and markups from design leads, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation of revisions. - Maintaining drawing standards, layering conventions, title blocks, and the company template/library for consistency across projects. - Supporting submittal packages, sample boards, and procurement documentation with accurate quantities and dimensions. - Collaborating with manufacturing partners and the procurement team to ensure drawings are buildable and meet quality standards. Qualifications required for this role include: - 5+ years of professional drafting experience in interior design, FF&E, millwork, or a related field hospitality experience strongly preferred. - Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Drafting Technology, or a related discipline. - Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD. - Strong understanding of construction documentation, dimensioning standards, and drawing conventions. - Solid grasp of materials, finishes, and furniture/millwork construction methods. - Ability to read and interpret architectural and design drawings, specifications, and schedules. - Excellent attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple projects against deadlines. - Clear written and verbal communication in English for coordination with U.S.-based design teams.
