Senior Product Design Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Product Design Engineers to lead product and equipment design activities across industrial engineering projects. The role involves design development, technical validation, manufacturing coordination to deliver robust and production-ready solutions. Role & responsibilities Lead the development of 2D/3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks. Review and optimize designs for manufacturability, structural integrity, cost, and performance. Perform engineering calculations, tolerance stack-up analysis, and material selection. Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, procurement, and project teams during product development. Prepare and review BOMs, fabrication drawings, technical specifications, and engineering documentation. Participate in client discussions, technical reviews, and design validation activities. Support prototype development, testing, troubleshooting, and implementation improvements. Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety requirements, and customer specifications. Preferred candidate profile Proficiency in SolidWorks and manufacturing drawing preparation Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and material Knowledge of fabrication, machining, sheet metal, and assembly processes Familiarity with engineering standards (ASME/API/DIN/MIL/EN or equivalent) Preferred Qualification Profeience in industrial equipment or heavy engineering Exposure to CFD / FEA-driven design improvements Experience handling prototype development and validation Client interaction and project coordination exposure Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication and technical documentation ability Ability to lead projects and coordinate cross-functional teams High attention to detail and engineering ownership mindset Eligibility Criteria: Education & Experience Diploma / BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech in Mechanical or relevant engineering discipline 4-10 years of relevant industrial design experience Strong hands-on experience in machine / equipment / product design
