Java Developer

As a Java Developer, your primary role will be to lead module-level design, development, and integration of backend services. This includes building scalable microservices using Spring Boot and event-driven architecture. You will be responsible for developing Kafka producers/consumers to ensure reliable messaging and optimizing databases, queries, and caching layers using PostgreSQL & Redis. Additionally, implementing secure APIs with Spring Security and collaborating with cross-functional teams for code reviews, deployments, and production stability. Your expertise in guiding junior developers, strong debugging, and performance optimization skills will be crucial for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Lead module-level design, development, and integration of backend services - Build scalable microservices using Spring Boot and event-driven architecture - Develop Kafka producers/consumers and ensure reliable messaging - Optimize databases, queries, and caching layers using PostgreSQL & Redis - Implement secure APIs with Spring Security - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for code reviews, deployments, and production stability - Guide junior developers - Demonstrate strong debugging and performance optimization skills - Take full ownership of modules from requirements to production deployment - Understand distributed transactions, fault-tolerance, and resilience patterns - Experience in performance tuning and capacity planning Qualifications Required: - 6-8 years of experience in Java development - Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, Spring Security, REST API, Jenkins, and ELK - Strong understanding of distributed transactions, fault-tolerance, and resilience patterns - Experience in performance tuning and capacity planning Please note that the job is a Full-Time Employment (FTE) based in Bangalore/Hyderabad/Pune/Mumbai/Chennai/Noida/Gurgaon/Kolkata with shift timing from 10 am to 7 pm IST.
