Python Django Backend Developer

We are looking for an experienced Python Django Backend Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in developing scalable web applications using Django, designing REST APIs, managing databases, and deploying applications on Linux servers. You will work closely with frontend developers, QA engineers, and project managers to build reliable and high-performance software solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Python and Django. Build and maintain RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications. Design and optimize database schemas using PostgreSQL/MySQL. Integrate third-party APIs and external services. Deploy, configure, and maintain applications on Linux servers. Configure and manage Nginx, Gunicorn/uWSGI, and SSL certificates. Work with Docker for containerized deployments. Manage source code using Git and GitHub/GitLab. Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Required Skills 3+ years of hands-on experience in Python and Django. Strong knowledge of Django ORM and Django REST Framework (DRF). Experience with REST API development and integration. Good understanding of PostgreSQL or MySQL. Experience with Linux server administration. Hands-on experience deploying Django applications using Nginx and Gunicorn/uWSGI. Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments. Experience with Git version control. Understanding of authentication, authorization, and web security best practices. Knowledge of asynchronous task queues such as Celery is an advantage. Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or DigitalOcean is preferred. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
