QA Automation - Python

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Python-based automation testing. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products through robust automated testing frameworks and processes. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimise test strategies that enhance the overall software development lifecycle. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python to ensure comprehensive test coverage.Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand functional and technical requirements.Create detailed and effective test plans, test cases, and test strategies.Execute automated test suites and analyse results to identify defects and performance issues.Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and testability.Integrate automated test scripts into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.Document test cases, execution results, and defects clearly and concisely.Continuously enhance automation frameworks, tools, and testing methodologies.Stay updated with emerging trends and best practices in QA automation and software testing. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.3-9 years of hands-on experience in QA Automation using Python.Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, PyTest, or Robot Framework.Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or similar platforms.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.Experience in API testing and performance testing.Knowledge of test reporting tools and defect tracking systems (e. g., JIRA).Understanding of DevOps practices and automation integration strategies.
