Role Description This full-time, on-site Power System Engineer role is based in the Pune Division. The Power System Engineer will perform power system studies, including load flow, short-circuit, stability, and protection coordination analyses for utility and industrial networks. Responsibilities include designing and reviewing electrical system layouts, specifying equipment, and supporting power generation and distribution projects. The role involves interpreting standards, preparing technical reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient electric power systems. The engineer will also assist in troubleshooting system issues, supporting commissioning activities, and providing technical input on proposals and client discussions. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Power Systems and Electric Power, including understanding of transmission, distribution, and protection principles.Candidates should possess skills in Power System Studies, such as load flow, short-circuit, stability, and reliability analysis.Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Engineering and Power Generation, including familiarity with generation technologies and grid integration.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical report-writing abilities.Proficiency with relevant power system analysis software (e.g., ETAP, DIgSILENT, PSCAD, or similar) is beneficial.Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.Knowledge of industry standards and codes (such as IEC, IEEE) and basic safety practices in electrical engineering.Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams on-site. .
