Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Meter Firmware Engineer, based in Thrissur with partial work-from-home flexibility. The role involves developing and maintaining firmware for smart electricity meters, including metering accuracy, data processing, and communication with head-end systems. The engineer will work closely with hardware, testing, and system teams to ensure reliable field performance. Qualifications 4 to 5 years of experience in embedded C/C++ programming Understanding of energy metrology, including measurement accuracy and calibration support Knowledge of meter communication protocols such as DLMS/COSEM Ability to debug, test, and validate meter firmware Familiarity with microcontrollers and embedded systems Degree in Electronics, Embedded Systems, or Computer Science
