About the role
As a highly analytical and strategic professional, your role will involve leading evaluation and research efforts for mental health programs. You will focus on designing robust evaluation frameworks, conducting rigorous research, and generating actionable insights to support evidence-based decision-making. Key Responsibilities: - Research & Evaluation Design - Develop and implement comprehensive evaluation frameworks across programs - Design rigorous research studies including RCTs, quasi-experimental, and mixed-methods approaches - Build Theory of Change models and logical frameworks - Establish standardized outcome indicators aligned with global best practices - Outcome Mapping & Indicator Management - Map program outcomes to measurable indicators and develop tracking matrices - Define and document KPIs for programs and interventions - Establish baselines, milestones, and targets for monitoring progress - Create logical frameworks and results chains linking activities to outcomes - Regularly review and refine indicators based on program learning - Statistical Analysis & Data Interpretation - Conduct advanced statistical analyses such as regression, multivariate analysis, survival analysis, and psychometric validation - Utilize statistical tools like SPSS, R, STATA, Python, or SAS - Analyze longitudinal datasets and perform meta-analyses where required - Research, Reporting & Communication - Design and execute research studies including surveys, interviews, and mixed methods - Interpret research findings and translate them into actionable insights - Develop high-quality research reports, policy briefs, and technical documents - Support internal decision-making and external stakeholder reporting - Build compelling narratives to communicate program outcomes and impact Required Qualifications & Experience: - Education: Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Public Health, or a related quantitative field - Experience: Minimum 5+ years in research, analytics, or monitoring & evaluation roles Technical Skills: - Strong proficiency in Excel with advanced functions, data analysis, and pivot tables - Expertise in statistical tools like SPSS, R, STATA, Python, or SAS with a minimum of two preferred Research Expertise: - Strong understanding of experimental and quasi-experimental designs - Experience in impact evaluation, survey design, and psychometric analysis - Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques such as multivariate analysis, regression, SEM, and factor analysis Additional Skills (Preferred): - Familiarity with qualitative analysis tools like NVivo, MAXQDA - Exposure to data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI Communication: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to translate complex data into clear, structured insights and narratives Please note that this job posting has been aggregated from an external source.
