About the role
As a QA Functional Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the software products. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and executing test plans and test cases to pinpoint and resolve defects. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional requirements and design specifications to guarantee thorough test coverage. - Identify, document, and monitor software defects through a bug tracking system, providing clear and concise information for efficient resolution by the development team. - Work closely with developers and product managers to comprehend requirements, address ambiguities, and verify the testability of new features and enhancements. - Conduct regression testing to verify resolution of previously identified defects and ensure new code changes do not introduce any new issues. - Contribute to test automation initiatives by crafting and maintaining automated test scripts to enhance efficiency and diminish manual testing efforts. - Evaluate test results, spot trends, and offer suggestions for process enhancements to elevate the overall quality of the software development process.
