You will be responsible for coordinating the end-to-end release lifecycle for a portfolio of enterprise and product-facing applications. Your main duties will include maintaining the release calendar, facilitating go/no-go decisions, executing deployments, improving CI/CD pipelines, driving change management, supporting lower environments, tracking release metrics, acting as the regional release point of contact, and documenting release processes. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain the release calendar for in-scope products, coordinating timing, dependencies, and stakeholder communication across APAC and EMEA teams. - Run release readiness reviews and facilitate go/no-go decisions, ensuring completion of acceptance criteria, test evidence, security sign-off, and operational runbooks before deployment. - Execute deployments to staging and production environments, including coordination of pre- and post-release validation, smoke tests, and rollback if needed. - Operate and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines, reducing manual steps and lead time for changes. - Drive change management following ITIL practices and regulatory frameworks, maintaining an audit-ready release record. - Coordinate hotfix and emergency change processes while ensuring system stability. - Support healthy lower environments by managing availability, configuration parity, and refresh cadence. - Track and report release metrics such as deployment frequency, lead time for changes, change failure rate, and mean time to recovery. - Act as the regional release point of contact for APAC and EMEA stakeholders, escalating risks and decisions clearly and on time. - Document release processes, runbooks, and lessons learned, sharing best practices with engineering teams across regions. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. - 46 years of professional experience in software engineering, DevOps, or release management, with at least 2 years in a release-focused role. - Hands-on experience with modern CI/CD tooling and version control workflows. - Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform and containerized deployments. - Demonstrated experience coordinating releases across multiple teams and environments. - Practical exposure to change management frameworks and releasing in audit-controlled environments. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Proven ability to operate effectively in a fully remote, globally distributed team. - Based in and authorized to work in an APAC or EMEA country. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience supporting global or regional teams across APAC and EMEA time zones. - Familiarity with DevOps best practices, automation, and continuous improvement methodologies. - Strong understanding of DORA metrics, deployment KPIs, and operational excellence practices. - Ability to conduct release readiness reviews, risk assessments, and go/no-go meetings with stakeholders. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and operational stability.
