Job Description: We are looking for Junior Back-end Software Engineer As a Junior Software Engineer at WirelessCar, you will be a proactive member of a collaborative engineering team where ownership, quality, and continuous improvement are key. You will work independently on well-defined backend solutions, taking responsibility for your tasks from start to finish while knowing when to ask for input or feedback. Here s what you ll focus on: Develop, test, and maintain backend software components in accordance with requirements and engineering standards. Implement well-defined features and bug fixes. Write unit tests and follow established quality, security, and coding practices. Participate actively in code reviews, sprint planning, and team ceremonies. Communicate progress, risks, and blockers clearly and early. Take responsibility for assigned tasks from start to completion. Continuously build your understanding of the system, architecture, and development practices. Qualification & Experience . 2+ years of hands-on experience in backend development using Java 11+. Practical experience with unit testing using JUnit and basic TDD principles. Experience using Git in a collaborative, team-based development environment. Experience working in Agile teams (e. g. Scrum or similar frameworks). Hands-on experience with a cloud platform (AWS). At least a bachelor s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. English, Fluent - Spoken and written.
