Role Overview: As a Java Developer at the software engineering team, you will be responsible for being the "Backend Architect" and "Logic Engine Specialist." Your main role involves designing, developing, and maintaining safe, scalable, and high-performance server-side applications. In your position as the "Core Systems Engineer," you will be translating complex business requirements into reliable, tidy, and maintainable Java code. The ideal candidate should be an analytical problem-solver with a "Systems-Thinking" mentality, capable of managing the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), optimizing database searches, and coordinating seamless microservices connections. Key Responsibilities: - Mastering the Java Ecosystem: Demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of Java EE/Jakarta EE platforms and Java Core Collections, Multi-threading, Concurrency, Stream API. - Proficiency in Frameworks: Having practical knowledge of the Spring Ecosystem including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Cloud. - Database Expertise: Exposure to NoSQL systems such as MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, along with a strong grasp of conventional databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle. - Strong Understanding of Design Principles: Demonstrating a strong understanding of SOLID design principles, microservices, MVC, event-driven architectural patterns, and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles. - Build and Version Control: Knowledge of version control systems like Git and build tools such as Maven or Gradle. - Analytical Troubleshooting: Possessing an excellent aptitude for tracking network latency, debugging intricate distributed systems, and examining application logs with tools like ELK Stack and Splunk.
