Job Description: You will be part of our engineering and manufacturing division as a Mechanical Engineer, specifically working as a "Product Architect" and "Structural Integrity Authority." Your main responsibility will involve designing, developing, testing, and producing mechanical devices, parts, systems, and machinery. As a "Design-to-Production Specialist," you will lead complex ideas through all stages of the product lifecycle, including physical prototyping, finite element analysis (FEA), final production floor implementation, computer-aided design (CAD) schematics, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Key Responsibilities: - Advanced CAD Software Mastery: You should have proficiency in at least one industry-standard 3D CAD program like SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Creo Parametric, or CATIA for structural design. - Simulation and CAE Systems: Utilize real-world experience with computer-aided engineering (CAE) engines for thermal loops and structural stress, such as ANSYS, SolidWorks Simulation, or Altair HyperMesh. - GD&T Technical Literacy: Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of limits and fits, tolerance stack-up analysis, and the standard symbols controlling form, profile, orientation, and position control. - Manufacturing Process Insight: Possess a strong technical understanding of surface treatment finishing techniques, weldment dynamics, sheet metal stamping constraints, and toolpathing factors. - Apply strong analytical skills in fluid mechanics, dynamics, statics, heat transfer equations, and machine component design principles in mathematical and physical mechanics.
