About the role
Senior DevOps Engineer Kubernetes Platform, Security and Release Engineering Location: Pune (Hybrid) Contract: 12+ months Key Responsibilities Kubernetes Platform Engineering Design, deploy, and manage production-grade Kubernetes environments Build and maintain deployment workflows for both upstream Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift Develop reusable platform patterns for application deployment, scaling, resilience, and recovery Implement cluster-level operational controls, governance, and platform standards Optimize cluster performance, availability, and operational efficiency Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience 5+ years of DevOps , Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure experience 3+ years operating production Kubernetes environments Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift Demonstrated experience designing and implementing Kubernetes RBAC models for production environments Strong experience designing CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes-native delivery Proven experience implementing canary and progressive delivery strategies in production Strong multi-cloud infrastructure provisioning experience using infrastructure as code Strong Linux systems administration expertise Strong scripting/programming skills in Go, Python, or Bash
