Lead Consultant(Business Analyst)

Role Overview: Guidewire is seeking an experienced Lead Consultant with strong P&C insurance integration experience to collaborate closely with insurance clients, including those from Japan. As a Lead Consultant, you will be responsible for partnering with business and technical teams to develop and implement integration solutions that meet business objectives. Japanese language proficiency, along with stakeholder management and documentation skills, are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with insurance clients to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements related to Guidewire product integrations. - Translate business needs into functional specifications for technical teams working on various integration technologies such as Integration Gateway, App Events, Cloud API, Event Messaging, Batch Processes, and REST APIs. - Act as a bridge between business and development teams to support solution design, testing, and deployment of integration solutions. - Conduct workshops, interviews, and user story sessions to identify pain points, current workflows, and process gaps. - Validate solution scope, assist in effort estimation, and support backlog grooming and prioritization in Agile/Scrum environments. - Work collaboratively with UX, QA, architects, and SI partners to ensure alignment of solutions with technical feasibility and business value. - Prepare and deliver functional documents, demo scripts, and stakeholder updates to ensure clarity and traceability of requirements. - Provide input on solution design decisions and verify that business requirements are effectively implemented and tested. Qualification Required: - 812 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the P&C insurance space, focusing on digital and/or integration projects. - Strong understanding of P&C InsuranceSuite and its core capabilities. - Familiarity with integration technologies including Integration Gateway, App Events, Cloud API, REST APIs, Event Messaging, and Batch Processing. - Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N1 or N2) is mandatory. - Experience working with Japanese clients, including day-to-day interactions, requirement discussions, and expectation management. - Strong problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. - Comfortable working across cross-functional teams and global time zones with shift flexibility when necessary. - Experience in Agile/Scrum environments, including user story creation, acceptance criteria, and requirements traceability. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
